The MBM Group has associated with
the Rotary International and the Anandashram Trust
to form a charitable trust under the name and style
of ROTARY - MBM CHARITABLE TRUST. This trust was
registered in 1991 with Dr. M.R.NAMBIAR, a renowned
Orthopedic Surgeon (Chairman, Sachidananda Institute
of Medical Sciences) and Late M.B.MOOSA as Chairman
and Co-Chairman respectively.
The Rotary - MBM Charitable Trust
runs a rotary special school for mentally challenged
children, an Artificial Limb Manufacturing Centre and a
Vocational Training Centre under its management. The
Trust renders tremendous service to the mentally and
physically challenged people in Kasargod district.
The MBM Group is well represented and actively
associated in the management of the Trust.

Muslim Orphanage Committee
Mr. Ashraf MBM is presently serving as the Managing
Trastee of Iqbal igher Secondary School, Kanhangad
and also the Chairman of the C. H. Mohammed Koya
Memorial Educational and Charitable Society where
the Crescent English Medium School comes under this
society’s Management.
He is the District General
Secretary of the Muslim Educational Society (MES) of
Kasargod district which has various institutions
under its control and management. He is the
Executive Member and Patron of Kannur District
Muslim Educational Association which runs Sir Syed
Collage, Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies
and Keyi Sahib Memorial B.Ed Training Collage at
Taliparamba.
Mr. Ashraf MBM is associated with
the State Rifle Association, Kasargod District as
the treasurer with the District Collector as
President, The Superintendent of Police as the
Vice-President, and Addl. Dist. Magistrate as also
the Vice Chairman .He is also the President of
Kasargod Dist Ball Badminton Association. |
